How many people out there use Netflix? I just ordered it yesterday and got the package that included "Instant Movie Access" were it streams a music directly to you.

Problem......you need Windows XP or Vista and IE 6 or newer

Anyone else have to deal with this problem?!

I didn't use their streaming feature for a long time because of this. I finally decided to boot up Windows, to get the most out of my subscription. The streaming feature is great, except for the software requirements.

Word is they're working on a Silverlight-based player, which might work with Moonlight, the Linux implementation of Silverlight. Work on the Silverlight player might have stopped, though, for all I know. They might be focusing more on their set-top box than streaming to PCs.

Wouldn't expect too much on the non-Windows front. Netflix's CEO sits on M$ board of directors. Rumor has it Netflix is going to be part of Xbox Live, too.

Maybe announced this week according to MSNBC.

But even with that, I still love Netflix.
