First product: GNOME Sensors Applet

GNOME Sensors Applet is an applet for the GNOME Panel to display readings from hardware sensors
I have an older 1.6ghz P4 and could not get any sensors to work properly on my sytem. This program worked showing temp and fan speed as well as voltage info.

We also take requests so if your looking for some oddball stuff say such as a Music making program wink (Im looking for one lol) Please post a request.
Also please dont move this to 5.04 section as all will be lost when 5.10 comes out.

Ha ha nice title for this... anyway:
uade 1.03 (no uade in synaptic period in universe or mulitverse)
http://zakalwe.virtuaalipalvelin.net/uade/
"UADE plays old Amiga tunes through UAE emulation and cloned m68k-assembler Eagleplayer API.
UADE is Open Source compatible with Free Software definition. UADE is licensed with GNU GPL. This software would not have been possible for us to produce without the great Free Software model which allowed us to make use of years of hard work of the UAE team. Most of the thanks goes to their pioneering work to build the necessary infrastructure, especially Bernd Schmidt, the initiator of UAE project. "
It is great (I made a deb for uade and the bmp plugin). For tunes I recommend Shadow of the Beast and Lemmings!

zsnes 1.36 is in there... but honestly it's 2 years old, doesn't support things like Star Ocean, and mario kart very well, plus no support for .jma. Let's put zsnes 1.42 in, even leave multiple versions in the repositories if need be!

1.42 compiles and installs fine (I've been doing cvs builds pretty often, all excellent)

advancemame and menu
http://advancemame.sourceforge.net/doc-advmame.html

* A lot of video boards supported for direct hardware registers programming. (see the card*.txt files)
* Support for 8, 15, 16 and 32 bits video modes.
* Real hardware scanlines.
* Software video image stretching by fractional factors, for example to play vertical games like "Pac-Man" with horizontal Arcade Monitors or TVs.
* Special `scale', `lq' and `hq' effects to improve the aspect with modern PC Monitors.
* Special `blit' effects to improve the image quality in stretching.
* Special `rgb' effects to simulate the aspect of a real Arcade Monitor.
* Change of the video mode and other video options at runtime.
* Support of Symmetric Multi-Processing (SMP) with a multiple thread architecture (only for Linux).
* Sound and video recording in WAV, PNG and MNG files.
* Multiple mice support in Linux, DOS, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
* Automatic exit after some time of inactivity.
* Scripts capabilities to drive external hardware devices like LCDs and lights.

* Help screen describing the user input keys.
"
http://advancemame.sourceforge.net/menu-readme.html
"AdvanceMENU is a frontend for AdvanceMAME, MAME™, MESS, RAINE and any other emulator.
It runs in Linux, Mac OS X, DOS, Windows and in all the other platforms supported by the SDL library. "
Anyway, great experience under linux and windows, I think synaptic has an old xmame... but with mame being behind over 10 versions, means missing lots of bug fixes and support for literally hundreds of games...

ALL ARE GPL... NO EXCUSES! :)

Ok here they are:
http://www.safaribans.com/gpl/

Check my above post for descriptions or use google. DEBs made in Breezy using checkinstall and sources are there too.

The extra stuff is mednafen (multiplatform emulator: nes, gba, pc-engine, etc)

and

port of the xmms-sid plugin to work with beep (works quite well, but have to double click title to get to subtunes)
