View Full Version : Telling Firefox that a word *is* misspelled

I've searched the forums, haven't found this problem. My apologies if it's a repeat.

One of my fumble-fingered habits is failing to capitalize "I" when making blog entries, etc. I would **LOVE** for Firefox to redline it. However, I can't see how to make it do so.

Adding a redlined word to the dictionary makes it go away, i understand. AARGH, did it again! ;-) However, the single lower-case "i" is NOT recognized as a goof, thus I find them scattered throughout my blogs, much to my annoyance.

Any ideas on how I can add lowercase i's, or any other fubars, for that matter, to Firefox's spellcheck?

And aside from that, I'd like to know how to tell it that apostrophes are *not* the end of the word. When I type "wouldn't" it underlines "wouldn" but leaves "'t" alone. If I tell it that it's not misspelled, it'll then think "wouldn" is a word, which is also wrong.

I'm using firefox beta 3 and I just typed wouldn't and it's all good here. It used to do that though, I guess they fixed it.

Thanks, Darkhack! I'm correcting with veddy British spellcheck now, and my lower-case i's are being highlighted!

Cheerio!
