View Full Version : Making logo for website

I have got my website up and running, and will be moving to Archux.com (http://archux.com) tomorrow. I just want some suggestions. My website is called Archux (http://knightsfamilyhistory.com/drupal6), a Arch Linux tutorial website. It's name is basically Arch and Tux merged into one. My first idea was to have tux reading a book saying Archux on it, but I have no idea how to make this! I'm not that good with graphics, and the only things I have made are some glossy backgrounds and clouds (used an SVG off openclipart.org). Could anyone suggest a better logo or help me make one?

I'm sure you can find a Tux clipart from OpenClipart (by the way, there's an OpenClipart package for OOo and then they'll all be in /usr/share/...something, you can grep for it), and if you grab the SVG you can use InkScape to modify it.
