This is the thread i refer to. (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=693394)
It has come to my attention that despite the mailing list and the newsletter, we really have no 'Ubuntu Magazine' as such. I'd like to suggest starting a collaborative professional media such as this.
My beliefs are that with contributors in key areas, such as Programming and Development, Troubleshooting, Art and Design and so forth, we could develop a handy, enjoyable .pdf format magazine with a professional touch to it.
I'm more than happy to start this up, if people would be willing to contribute and think its a good idea as I'm rather handy with the old GIMP and a wine-emulated Fireworks. If you are interested, post in here, or PM me.
Cheers for taking the time to read this post, and I will be interested to hear feedback on this idea.
Cheers,
Kris
