Myellow,
I can't click any smilies, font size/type, code/html/quote/hlink/... buttons. They're all greyed out. I'm using Firefox 1.06 on Windows (yet to get a chance to log on to my Ubuntu box).
Also just on a side note, is the colour scheme correct? I've a bunch of browns, blues and greys where there used to be varying shades of browns and beiges.

hmmm - the buttons don't seem to work under firefox when i turn off greasemonkey.
Do you have greasemonkey?
i'll try track down which script is causing problems.
Edit: hmmm - now the buttons seem to just work for me - maybe the forum admins fixed it.

Nope, no greasemonkey and still no buttons. :'(
I have a couple of extensions: mouse gestures, ForecastFox, and AutoCopy (I miss my Linux features).

Hitting CTRL+F5 does the trick, though I've no idea what it actually does. Ubuntu-user had a post somewhere or another that said how to do it.

reloading the page is what seems to get the buttons working
seems like ctrl+f5 reloads (as does ctlr+R)

ctrl+f5 clears the cache. It seems to be a bug with firefox/AJAX. If you go into your USERCP you can change to the standard editor with will bypass the ajax stuff.
