Two IT people in the company I'm working in are interested in learning Ubuntu Server administration. Are there courses offered here in Metro Manila? I've seen some but they're mostly for Red Hat Linux, I prefer Ubuntu. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Guys from Open Source College, do you have courses/ training for Ubuntu Server administration?

Sali rin ako. I actually have two Ubuntu server here sa office Dapper and Gutsy.

What will be scope of the training if ever? Installation, administration, web server, file server, network services, database server (too bad di supported ng Oracle ang Ubuntu).

Ano nga ba?

Hi gbutalid.. Dito sa school namin meron available 3 courses like net technician, comp inform. technology and programming.. diko lang sigurado kung meron nyan server administration.. sa 2nd palang ata ituturo samin yung linux kasi as of now medyo basics palang like mga interfaces ng linux tinuturo eh...

or worst..

check mo yung cartridge baka low on ink...

sana it works..:)

Ano version ng open office mo, so far sa aking experience ay wala naman akong problem sa printing open office 2.3... pag nag file page preview ka meron dun button to format page kung saan pwede mo i-set ang borders, header, footer or properties ng gusto mo iprint.

ano bang paper size gamit mo sa document mo? baka legal.. ang legal kasi 8.5 x 14 eh... tapos yung long bond paper naman e 8.5 x 13.

baka kaya putol yung print out mo.

haha, layo ng narating, from training to printer troubleshooting.

anyway, back to topic. i was asked if i could do a seminar on Ubuntu for graduating IT students of BETI. however, i haven't given my answer due mostly to my (very, very, very) hectic schedule. but if i do have time for this, i'll post it here and ask the admins if i could also invite non-BETI students and professionals interested in this seminar. of course, it'll be held in Baguio.
