Hi everyone:

Just wanted some opinions-

Should I get two 4:3 monitors - think like two 17" or 19" monitors...

or 1 big 24" widescreen?

do you have personal preferences either way?

Just wondering as my money is burning a hole in my pocket.

Thanks!

24" easily. I own two 19" monitors, and as wicked cool as it was at first, I'd so much rather have a single widescreen 19", so definitely get the 24.

One big 24'', So that you have a lot of space but can also run a movie in fullscreen using the whole thing :KS:popcorn:

I'd rather have 2 24" displays. :lolflag:

2 screens are good for multitasking, but having 1 large screen is better overall IMO. Besides, when you get some more dough in your pocket, pick up a 17" to go alongside it.

My gf has a 30" and a 15" screen, she uses it for doing graphic design. For those who think that's too much screen, I've seen her work and she uses every bit of that screen real estate.

LOL. Agreed.

Two screens are def. great for multitasking, but I would go for 1 big screen b/c that space in between can get annoying, especially with movies (If you want to have a big movie going).

I, personally, am waiting until I can get a 32" or 37" TV to hook up to mine and then use my current 17" as a multitasking tool.

So schweet!

You need 3 normal screens so you can play a flight/driving simulator and have a front, right and left view.

No doubt! I use duals, 26" on the left, 24" on the right. Nothing like tossing all your shells, IM windows, file managers, etc. on the right and watching vids, browsing, etc. on the main.
