[SOLVED] Getting online

Well, I just started Arch and the install went well, I think. But, I can't seem to get online. The light on the router is on and that usually means things are OK. The out put of ifconfig shows all the usual stuff except for a line at the end that says: Interrupt:16

I know I sound like a noob and I'm usually answering these kinds of posts. Seems weird to be on the other side. Very humbling. :)

is that an ethernet connection? could you post your /etc/rc.conf?

Yes, please post rc.conf file. Wired or wireless? What DE are you using?(Gnome, kde, etc?)

Thanks for writing back guys. Just needed to set eth0="dhcp". Hard to do a setup when your in tty1 with no tools installed and no network! I should have known what to do from Gentoo, but my mind went blank. I was staring at the terminal like a deer in the headlights! :) I'm going to use the setup instructions on this forum, they seem to be very good. I just had to get started.Thanks again.
