i can code in Visual Basic (but i don't really like it)
i know some PHP from running and modding an IPB forum
i am a beginner at Java and JavaScript
and i just started Python and i really like it and it seems easy for me to get into
i even wrote a program in my notebook while i was supposed to be taking notes in my British Lit class.

so tell me how many languages do you know?

In college I took a class on Python, C++, Java, and Ada.... At an intern we used C#. I don't really know much Java and Ada though, only while I took the class and could refer to a book or online for help about everything :)

I am most comfortable with Java, although it has been some time since I have really used it on a consistent basis. I am passable at C and C++, and with a little touch-up could be passable at Python and C#. Most of my "programming" recently has been html/css code and PHP, so I'm not as up on my real languages as I should be.

I use C++ for pretty much everything I code.
I made a CMS in PHP but haven't used PHP in a long time, so my memory is pretty rusty.
And I know some basic Python and Java, but prefer C++.
I also quite like ASM but I can never think of anything it would be practical to make with it, so haven't used it much and therefre don't really know it.

Non programming languages:
Just English, I do Irish and French in school but do terribly in them, I'm bad enough at English (yes I can spell and have average grammar, but if you ask me to interpret poetry or shakespeare I get lost.)

So you mean that you do the language but don't know many applications?
