Greetings,
Alright so its tax season. I started filing my taxes through taxact.com and for the first time I can actually claim about 6000 miles for business as I work in outside sales and drive a lot. It says I will get a 2500 tax deduction for this year but it doesn't show up on my refund amount. What exactly am I missing in regards to this. Do I just get that relief and its lowering my tax bracket or is that money due to me from the government. I'm confused and any tax experts would be appreciated.
