Hello!
What kind of cell phones do the people here at the forums have?

I have a Samsung Blast and before that a Samsung T219 both on the T-Mobile network. I like the Blast a lot!:)

Personally I believe that Samsung and Motorola are the best cell phone brands out there too.:lolflag:

I envy you... Those phones are excellent... but they run out of battery fast, according to my friend who has one~:lolflag:

An ancient but durable Nokia. It was originally designed to allow communication between field commanders in the Crimean War, so it lacks modern features. But hey: it works, and it even runs Opera Mini.

treo 650. Somehow it manages to keep me in line.

And I can use it to watch futurama!

Do you know what it is called. If it is that old... How does it run Opera mini?

I used to have one of those old nokias too, but it died on me after a year, probably not the same model!

The 6010. I may have been slightly exaggerating about its age (the Crimean War was fought in the 1850s), but I believe it was first released in 2002 or 2003.

How well to any of these phones work with Linux. I'm thinking about getting an N95 8GB but I've heard that you get limited functionality on Linux?

@EnergySamus: The current one, I believe. Opera Mini, by the way, isn't the same as Opera Mobile: Mini is designed for really minimal phones, and doesn't do much in the way of CSS or JS.

Well, my Razr V3m on Alltel died the other week, when I had to make a phone call outside while it was snowing... it started to reboot randomly after that.

I now have a Samsung u420. The Nokia PC suite, which provides much of the functionality, is a Windows only application. I don't know about the N95, but my N72 didn't work out of the box. There are ways around it, but you may need to hunt around a bit to get everything working.
