Hello, I like the concept of the IBM trackpoint keyboards for desktop computers but I was wondering if anything like that was available in USB nowadays from some place like tigerdirect or newegg? Thanks!

Just buy a genuine IBM M series with trackpoint and get a PS2 to USB adapter.
