Thanks for the heads up, mine have been ordered.

Thanks for the heads up!

The form is a little weird, that it places my username as the Name in the address field. I had to add a little more info in the address fields to make sure the postman wasn't going to try to deliver to "jimcooncat".

Believe it or not, my mother didn't name me that!

Thanks SD...you're faster than the notification email I requested a couple weeks ago. Haven't gotten that yet.

If we ordered Hoary cd's, these won't be sent automatically, will they?

I just got my Hoary CDs three weeks ago, ordered them the day it was released. Maybe next time:).

Awesomeness. Thanks a bundle.

Just to be safe, one of each. One for me, one to convince a friend who has a Mac, and one for my potential future AMD64 . . .

Ship it is nice and all, but if you actually want Breezy kinda near its release you have to pay. I suggest this site:

I just ordered a mess of Hoary CD's to give out. Will I get the Breezy Badger CDs instead?

I cannot log into the Ship-It without verification of my login. I get an email with a verification link, however all I get at that link is Page Not Found. I have tried several times, using the verification emails I've received....about six or seven of them and it just doesn't work. I tried to email to the support link in the email I received and the email merely bounces. What's going on???

I thought it said somewhere on the shipit site that if you already ordered Hoary your next order would automatically be for Breezy... i ordered mine a month ago as soon as i got Hoary in the mail... i guess i'll know for sure when they get here.

well, they'll get here about 4 months after release, but, anyway...

I suggest http://www.ubuntu.com/download/

aye, but it looks alot better when you give someone a nice, pressed copy

Can't order any if you can't "validate" your email address.

Shipit sent me an email to validate. The link, however, is broken, and leads only to a "Page Not Found" notification.

That's exactly what's happening to me, as well. I've been trying for two days, but the broken link is all you get.

I can't see to find anywhere on shipit site that if i order now i will get 5.10 and not 5.04. Is it really true? Should i proceed ordering?

macgyver2

aye, but it looks alot better when you give someone a nice, pressed copy
Indeed. I'll burn copies for myself and for a few of my friends, but if I'm giving CDs to those new to Linux I prefer something more professional.
