Hi there,

I have Iburst (www.iburst.co.za) which is a wireless access provide. They have send me a modem which log's on to there network. What I want to know is how do I create and ethernet PPPOE connection to this device. Providing a username and password, plus having it set to obtain IP address and DNS automatically.

Thanks.

Is there anyway to get the Iburst Dashboard to run under Linux using Wine. It keeps saying it needs the Microsoft NET Framework installed.

Probably not, but you can try. It's possible to install .NET Framework 2.0 (freely downloadable), so start with that first. But that's no guarantee that Dashboard will work.

To install .NET Framework 2.0 under wine:

I also tried it in VMware under Windows XP. No joy. The Dashboard can't see the modem.
