Thought I would just put a post here as from coming from a Windows and OSX platforms to Ubuntu I always had issues trying to find a replacement for a couple of my apps i used and basicly gave up using those apps as nothing anywhere near to what I wanted but.....
I was having a look to see what OS's I could put on an old 800mhz PC and found this app that runs in Linux E/OS LX and apparantly it will run various other software including MAC apps.
Will let you know how i got on... or is this old hat?
