Its illegal until you are 18 in US, I'm only 16, so I get left out on the fun! In reality, if your chances of winning were ok, the state would not make any money, and the lottery is a big fund raiser for teh state.

Underage, but I still wouldn't do it.
There's a one-in-a-million chance that you'll win something worth your trouble, and by the time you get it you'll have spent that much on the lottery anyway.

I put a 3 quid in a jar every week, then every month pick a number from 1-10 and if the number is 4 I take £10 out of the jar and go "YAY I won the lottery". I seem to win every month. :D

Does this count?

It's crazy. I see people blow, £10 or £20 of Lotto tickets and then buy scratchcards!!! The sad fact is that it's a tax on the poor by any other name.

Usually people in deprived areas spend more per household on Lotto tickets, and then get very happy when they get £500 from the national lottery grant fund for a local park.

If they all took the money they spent on lotto and just chipped in, then that park wouldn't have to wait years for funding. In a community of say 500 people, they could do it in a week!!!
