Heh, dont count your chickens just yet!. BTW I would love the fiber connection hell id settle for virgin right now but nope got to stick to adsl :(

I have a fibre-connection, and I can highly recommend it:D
It should be illegal to put anything slower on the market in the future...

It's interesting that they are proposing these fibre connections in either Bournemouth, Northampton or Dundee. This makes a change from trialling everything in London.

Oh, and kudos to all those whole spelled "fibre" correctly in this thread ........

... just kidding!

if they ever do get around to it in the UK, it will probably be ludicrously expensive and deliver less than half the advertised speeds. Add into that the capping, shaping and blocking of traffic it will probably be a big let down.
