I am new to the Linux world...

On line contents are really helpful, pero kung may book po sana, mas maganda...

Thank you...

Two of the most helpful books for me were Ubuntu Unleashed and Ubuntu Linux Bible. You can get a copy online from a bookseller. I don't
know what languages they are available in though. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I believe those books will be great. But my problem is, I don't have the capability to make an online purchase (co credit cards, poor lang po). So, I was wondering kung merong mabibili dito sa 'Pinas, or may gusto mag-benta kahit second hand lang...

I have a link to some online books here. They may be a little old though.

This Forum is full of great help. Good Luck.

wag kang umasa sa natio... I did a search on most metro manila branches, the closest thing they have is "Linux for dummies" which I don't recommend- too old and too general.
Your best bet is e-books. Try this one:

:lolflag:

If you want to learn, spend time, effort and money....

hirap mag hanap sa bookstores, order na lang ako on line, download ng mga tutorials and how-to's saka ko print.... :)

Why won't you try national bookstore megamall. there you would find fedora8, free bsd, ubuntu unleashed, magazines about linux. IMO, they are more complete than the branch in cubao. I have bought ubuntu unleashed from there last year. Hope this helps you.

If you want the cheapest LINUX book in town then go to BOOKSALE

They have many branches dude.

But remember... kahit may libro ka kung wala ka naman sa actual then it is still useless...
