Anyone else tryed this?

Ive replaced ubuntu with Elive on my web browsing laptop, it seems to be faster than gnome. Doesnt have that chunky/clunky look that gmone/kde has. It has some missing features but I think its pretty good.

Would love to see an easy way to install e17 on ubuntu(ive checked out the guides they are fairly complex) maybe a .deb install or something on synaptic?

I agree it would be nice if we had a repo to install E17 from- I miss Smoon. But making debs is hard work and someone has to do it....Ubuntu (or Sid) by default won't include E17 till its released I think.....
