I am looking for a router that doesn't have a built in modem but i can't seem to find any. I know you can get the business grade ones, but i just want one suitable for home. Does anyone know of any?

In the U.S. you generally only see them without modems. In other places, like where I live now, and where the OP must live, you can only buy routers with built-in modems. I would love to find a stand-alone ADSL modem and use my Linksys WRT-54G (v1) without having to have it go through another router/switch first.

Not true, at least not anymore. Comcast offers cable modems with a built-in 4 port router and wireless. My mom got one last month and couldn't figure out what to do with it.

I have an old D-Link DI-604 which I used to use for my home LAN. Internet goes in, 4 LAN ports out.
