Your full name: <redacted>

Your web site(s): <redacted> and <redacted>

Your email address: <redacted>

Your picture: [none provided]

How long have you been using Ubuntu? for about 4 months now

Are you an Ubuntu developer? Nope

In what areas of Ubuntu are you involved? just a new user right now

What got you interested in working with Ubuntu? I've wanted to learn linux for a couple of years now, and after trying many distros, I came across ubuntu. I've liked it ever since!

Do you have any tips for women interested in getting more involved with Ubuntu? Get involved in the community forums! They are great to communicate with other women interested in the same technology as yourself. Also don't listen to people who try to make you stray..stick with what you want to learn and do it little by little everyday! We need more female ubuntu/linux users!

Are you involved with any other women in technology group? Which one(s)? Not yet, I plan to get involved with other women in technology groups as well as create my own at <redacted>
A bit more about you: I am a 25 yr old technical support engineer working for a tv graphics company right now. I would like to get more involved with open source and linux, as well as learn web design. Hopefully I can give back to the open source community one day either through development of web design components or other software development. As of right now, I'm going from Windows to Linux/open source slowly but surely :) And I would like to get more women involved with computers and technology!

Thank you!
Yes I did get Joomla running, but I realized it was the exact same thing as mambo, and I don't need all those features just yet :) I'll keep it in mind if my site gets bigger. For now I'll use xoops :)
