My favourite coffee cup is a cup with nice hot coffee in it, especially on the mornings :-)

Bit like my favourite beer mug really, a beer mug filled with beer :)

I saw one, with a picture of tux on it, that said.
"linux, cheaper than a cup of coffee." (hey, somone with no life was eventually going to bring the conversation back to linux or ubuntu, it might as well be me.)

I don't drink my Frappé (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_frapp%C3%A9_coffee) in cups.
I use transparent glasses, so I can see my brown friend, eye to foam.

I have one from the 1997 NCAA Men's Final Four Basketball Championship, when/where my alma mater, the University of Arizona (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arizona_Wildcats_men%27s_basketball) Wildcats won a National Championship.

A long while ago, and I'm not exactly certain of the particulars, someone bought me a pint mug (a china one, yes indeed). It's been with me ever since.

I drink tea from it mostly, and I tend to attract the oddest of stares.

It is my favorite because I can throw it in the microwave and the handle doesn't get hot \\:D/

After seeing that image... I can't help but wonder (and I direct this ponderance to the community at large), along with what you drink from, what would be your ideal chalice of choice, what manner of mug would you like to sip your morning nectar from?

Personally, I want one of these (http://www.celticattic.com/treasures/images/kitchen/glassware/dragon_stein.jpg). I have seen china variants of those around too, I might just have to pick one up.

I only have 2 coffe cups. 1 i got from Second Cup and the other I got custom made with a picture of Calvin ******* on the Windows logo :)

Seriously though (even if the above has it's share of truth), I have a primus thermos mug that can take 0.4l that's nice when I don't drink the coffe where I poured it.
At home I favor a light blue mug I found in the corridor kitchen, perfect size and fits nicely in the hand.
