I have kmplot but I'm wondering if any one knows of a program that emulates an acctual ti-83 graphing calculator?

Yep, there is one in synaptic, though it is from external repos. It is called tiemu.

I'm getting a weird bug where hte calc just minimizes on me when I try to expand it??
