I don't know if anyone can use this but it's simple and I used it all the time in windows. It's called 'Calendar Pro', it's free, and you can get the program and see a screenshot of it at http://www.geocities.com/cgopg/. You have to be able to have read and write permission when you run it in wine or the program won't save.

I'll ask the obvious question! Have you not tried to use Evolution as your PIM/Calendar? It's preinstalled in Ubuntu 7.10 Also Mozilla Sunbird is an excelent alternative. Just a thought!!

sorry to hijack this slightly but...

is there a way to get the evolution calender to flash up a warning on the desktop somewhere - taskbar even, that you have an appointment coming up?

Kind regards
