Well, I was going through a friends posts and found one that I thought would be interesting to help with. I went there and found it a bit old. I was most certain he had resolved the issue and posted

"haha, I think it's working now. Please mark this thread as "SOLVED""

I don't seem to really get the warning. It seems to say don't really tell users to mark their threads as "SOLVED". I have been told to mark my thread(s) as solved back when I joined. Many of my mates also tell new users to mark their threads as solved as it helps identify to skip the thread.

I don't really see the innapropriate language part of the warning either. I used the word please (and that is generic for all thread markings I inform new users of) and that's about it.

Although it is a warning I am still miffed by it in a sense. Could something please be explained/ done about this for me?

Thank you all,
nikoPSK
