Hello!
I just went here: http://ubuntucounter.geekosophical.net/
I signed up for a Ubuntu registered user icon

I sometimes see people on the forums who have little icons saying what registered user # that they are... How do you do this?!

Thanks
EnergySamus

go to the site and click login and enter the id and password you made and then scroll down and it should be there somewhere then save it to a file by right clicking it and "Save Image As.." or copy the html tag and paste it where you want it..

Sorry, I said that wrong!!! I meant How do I get it on to these forums? I normally see it near people's signature.

Images were disabled in sigs last time I checked, (it has been a while since I have been on). Check the Fourm Rule for more info.

you can use it as your avatar by right clicking it and press "Copy Link Location" then go to the avatar screen and choose to load one from a url and paste there and save it.
