Hi,
we're looking to set up an online store front using Mambo. We're only a small skate shop, and we've never had any online trading before, so I'm not exactly sure how much bandwidth we'll be needing (and rough ideas?), but i know I'm looking for something running linux, with php and mysql.

has anybody got any good experiences to share? and advice on bandwidth usage?
thanks!

I use www.eniki.net. I have had a couple of issues with them loosing the mysql database occasionally, but they are generally quick to rectify it.

I pay £120 a year for a reseller account with loads of bandwidth, disk space and as many sites/domains as I want.

Me! ;) Or setup your own. Easier than people make it sound, and a helluva lot more fun.

I've been using http://www.blackfoot.co.uk/ for about three years now - I've got two accounts with them, one for all the personal sites I run and one for work (I'm a webmaster for the local hospital). I'm a happy customer

I have a reseller account with 123Reseller - http://www.123reseller.co.uk/ Their servers are in the UK, and their service is second to none.
I recommend them very strongly.

Maybe it's not exactly were you're looking for, but I have got quite good experiences with a free PHP/MySQL webhost: frandt.com.
The uptime is not 100% and sometimes it's really slow, but maybe it's enough to fit your needs.
You could buy a domain name and redirect it to your frandt page.

I have a mambo portal with my own family name up for only 20 EUR a year!
