So i saw this (http://www.mandriva.com/en/product/mandriva-flash-2008) the other day and thought it was such a great idea.

Does anyone know if ubuntu are planning anything like this?

If not why not? I'd buy one (if Xubuntu brought one out).

I heard about this on LUGradio, one of the guys, (I'm not very good with voices) said that he had been to a mandriva confrence, and they handed out flash drives with mandriva on them, he was pretty excited by this, so he took it home, and, it wouldn't boot, so now he has a flash drive without mandriva on it. :lolflag:

Yeah i know pendrivelinux but i thought if ubuntu shipped on a pendrive (with a little instruction book or sommin to tell n00bs how to set the bios to boot from it) then it would be another way to get a live ubuntu.

I would find it more convenient than a livecd
