artistic & gpl license

I'm developing a program than depends, on software written with the artistic license.
This program with artistic license depends on programs with the gpl license.

So my question is,
what should my license be?

if it "depends on", then any license you choose. If it's "derives from" then it would be a little more difficult (depending on what the artistic license says).

OP: You may want to research project website. Or GNU website, they may have comments about that particular license (is ir Perl?). If no luck, try asking at groklaw, they are legal experts.
