Prsonally I always use the numbers, I don't like the names because I have to waste brain power working out what version they refer to.

I find that the numbers are simpler.

I like fiesty fawn - probably because it was the first Ubuntu I ever used - Gutsy Gibbon is good but reminds me too much of the goodies. (I hope I'm not the only person who has a copy of the funky gibbon!)
