Whats the terminal command to open my network manager? I don't have a system tray anymore and I need to open it (I'm working off my friends computer at the moment cuz I'm trying to solve a problem)

But how do I get to the window that is usually in the system tray? Like it shows your signal strength and when you click it it'll show you the local networks
edit: network connections is more of what I'm looking for

try:
nm-applet.
that brought it up on mine, but only in the system tray, it may appear somewhere else on your screen hopefully..
