Hey all, I just got myself a (now) working Palm m130 for $4. It's got PalmOS v4.1 on it. What kind of cool things can I do with it?

Also, can I stick a large SD card in it (1G+)?

You can immobilize sheets of paper on your desk even when there's a draft.

Find some freeware games for it. There are some programs that run horrible on OS5 but fine on 4.

I, too, have an older Palm Pilot. I use mine to keep my schedule, play games when I'm absurdly bored, and have loaded it up with a metric poop-ton of free e-books to read when I get bored with the games. All of this and I haven't even moved on to my 1GiB SD card.

I have the same model, though mine doesn't get used much anymore. Check out this site (http://www.freewarepalm.com/listall.shtml) to find some fun stuff. This one (http://www.freewarepalm.com/misc/tricorder.shtml) still makes me laugh. I've actually had it installed for at least 3 years.

Download the free ereader (http://ebooks.palm.com/product/detail/17324) software from palm, and read some free books (http://manybooks.net/).

Put every phone number you are likely to call including stores etc and throw it in your backpack.

Umm, yeah, I'm guilty... I put that one, the bubble wrap, spin the bottle, morse code, and a buttload of others on mine ;)

I have a website about Palm stuff. Palm users may want to check it out at www.makapalm.com. :-)

I don't know if they will run on the older Palm OS but if you are a musician and you own a Palm you have got to check out Bhajis Loops and Microbe. Absolutely amazing pieces of software. Yes, they cost, but believe me Bhajis Loops does more than some big bloated windows loopers/sequencers and for a fraction of the cost.
