ok. we have seen a lot of comparison between windows and ubuntu,. But what about the Mac OS Leopard? I heard that it is using unix engine or smtin? ok. I had some experies with leopard and all terminal commands seems a bit similer to linux.

I'm thinking of getting a Mac as may next computer and. I had the X86 version for few days. what do u think of Leporad vs Ubuntu?

Here is what saw, the sound quality was good. Allthough I still think Ubuntu is better cos of its ability to customize to the max.

It used a BSD kernel. Darwin is open and is the basis for Mac OSX.

There are threads on Mac OS X in the Mac OS X subforum.

I think OS X uses Darwin kernel rather than the BSD kernel.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin_(operating_system)

It is Darwin, which is derived from the code of FreeBSD and others.

As has already been stated, there is a LOT of this discussion in the threads in this sub-forum already. The above link is a very good read. :-)
