Does any one know if you will be able to order the ubuntu studio CD's online for delivery any time soon?

It's unlikely that it will be covered in ShipIt in the near future, given that it's not supported by Canonical, releases are in DVD format, and the (estimated) size of the audience is small.

You can, however, purchase it online. Here's one link I've found (there must be others):

If you already have Ubuntu 7.10 installed you can upgrade from Gusty to Ubuntu Studio 7.10.

If we can raise the money to manufacture the disks, we will press disks for Hardy and sell them at a price to cover production and shipping.

If you already have Ubuntu 7.10 installed you can upgrade from Gusty to Ubuntu Studio 7.10.
