Hello fellow ubuntuers and others. I'd like to cordially invite you to join the 'We Hate Microsoft' team at http://folding.stanford.edu. It is a distributed computing project that simulates the biological process of protein folding. These simulations are useful in cancer research, alzhimer's, etc. I know there are many other compelling teams. I've contributed to Mozillazine (because I first heard of the project there). But when I saw 'we hate microsoft', it was the team that speaks for me (some days i 'hate' them more than others, but its mostly just for fun). My goal is to raise it to at least the top 2000 teams level and hopefully higher. I've been able to raise it some 500 places so far but would appreciate help.

So, i ask you to download the program, and run it. Obviously it takes up your machines' idle cycles, so you wont notice almost any slowdown. It's for a good cause and also sends a fun little message.

Let me know if you want to join and also if you have any questions. I've been doing it for about a month and have even written a python script that keeps track of my different machines' progress.

Recap:
1. download program from http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html
2. make the program exacutable (in linux/mac)
when you run it,
3. chose whatever user name you want
4. team number to enter is: 10884
5. Let me know that you're in :)

so far, the team rank is 2637 of 39859, that's up from about 3100 from when i first joined. There's one guy on there that's inactive now, and another who's pretty useless (doesnt contribute much), so its up to us.

I look forward to hearing back from you

"We hate Microsoft?" This is clearly not allowed on our forums. We need to be respectful to every person and company. If you can rename your team and repost, we might allow it.
