I think this is pretty cool.
it probably wouldn't be to hard to do this with a cd (for the game) and usb stick (to save game).
someone could put together a Linux from scratch system livecd and put all the library's and stuff that one game needs and make a script to run the game and a script that shuts down the computer when you press the power button.
