Hi you all,

I'm going to do a project for school in which I want to transform the entire server environment to linux.

Filesharing will not be a problem, going to use samba for that.
Active Directory login will be replaced by OpenLDAP.
but for the exchange replacement I don't know what to do.

The users will still be using Outlook as their client and they need to be able to send and receive their mails, use the calendar, and do the other stuff they normally do with their outlook.

I know there a lot of programs for linux that can do this but I specifically need one that is free (as in beer).

Does anyone has some good recommendations and maybe a How-To (just hoping for the how-to).

Kind regards

Evolution?
Evolution is a client-side application, I need software that replaces the exchange server software with something else.

And like I said, I don't have a clue what I should use.
