This takes some getting used to, but here's a sample of my doodling:

The model I'm using is a Wacom A6-sized pad. It's surprising how accurate such a small space is.

Heh, thanks :)
Just for the record, this wasn't edited at all after I drew it.

Good lord. I couldn't do that well in an oekaki with my Graphire4 5x4 if I tried, and you didn't edit your pic afterward.
That's incredible.

Mine works just by plugging it in. Nothing required. Then again, I drew this on Windows, the Windows driver is unfortunately better.

I was hoping you were going to say it worked great in Linux...

Mine's no good either. I have a Trust Wireless Tablet 4200, and it doesn't work properly in GIMP/Hardy...
Wish it did....

Mazza558: Awesome job with the doodle, do you have a gallery online like a deviant art or your own host? If so you should post it here or maybe in one of the art social groups. I do my doodles mostly in pencil, then scan them in and clean them up with my wacom. After that I host them on my deviant art account (http://xzallion.deviantart.com/).

Wacom Bamboo tablets have some issues with the current driver in Ubuntu. I heard theres a fix on the Linux Wacom Project (http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/) but I don't know where on there.
I got my Wacom Intuos 3 working thanks to this HowTo (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=25151). Hope that helps.

My doodling time has almost disappeared now, due to exams mainly, but I'd love to get started again. If I do so, it'll be after my exams, as will development of my FutureLooks theme.
