I have just seen this reported by the BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7079777.stm
I have heard about a previous Mac Trojan (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=102379), but this BBC report claims that Quicktime will respond to an online video link by recommending you download the trojan. Then the user is asked for their sudo password (on the assumption they are installing a genuine codec). Easy to be fooled...
Given that Firefox also suggests codecs when you click on a media file since Gutsy, should I be concerned?
