Can someone reccomend a good program for burning ISO files to DVD? K3B doesn't seem to work with DVDs...it just asks me to insert a CD.

I'm trying to install Ubuntu Studio.

Actually, it seems K3B can do it, it just defaults to "Burn Cd ISO" when you open any ISO, regardless of its size.

I think Brasero can do it.

Or just use growisofs from the dvd+rw-tools packages.

I just right-click on the .iso file and select 'burn to disc'.

KDE can't do that?

There's an "Open with K3B" option which will open up K3B straight to the burn dialog (which means I just click it, then click "burn" if I don't want to change any of the settings.)

To burn an ISO with K3B go to tools select DVD image/iso and click, This will bring you to a new screen. then just open the file location. it will then allow you to burn your ISO image to DVD. hope this helps.Tip only use Top quality media, I always burn at Max with a modern writer and Verbatim, never had a dud burn with this combination.

This is more really good news, as this was the exact question I'd come on here to ask this morning. Thanks to all.

I'm surprised no one suggested GnomeBaker. (http://gnomefiles.org/app.php/GnomeBaker)

I highly recommend K3B for any burning project to be done.

from what? For windows, CDBurnerXP works well, or deepburner free.

Otherwise searching through the package manager would be my answer.
