Here the website:
http://bmpx.beep-media-player.org/

It's been quite long since the last update:0.40.13

Somebody knows if this project is gone already?

If it is, it's really a shame. Although being very unstable, it is one of two players that has Jamendo support and I was looking forward to next releases.

As December 2007 the BMPx website seems to be abandoned. (Note: no reason for the abandonment of the site/project is given.)

Dowload as both source or Deb packages (http://linux.softpedia.com/progDownload/BMPx-Download-4333.html)

There you go... Now someone brush up on their programming and continue it

The links for the source files are dead, however. the links for the debs seems to be working.

Well I don't really know much about it, but I'm sure a good FOSS project won't die that easy... All it takes is at least one experienced programmer to continue it on...

The developer has been in hospital, and seems his domain lapsed.

I heard about the old domain was stolen.

How did you know about the health condition of the developer?
