looks interesting. I'm quite a fan of this software when I'm using windows. Amazing how many paint/image programs are started by someone doing their university projects.

This program definitely needs to be a part of Ubuntu repos sometime in future. Not many people can use Gimp effectively. This program is more suited for basic editing.

I use Paint.net when I'm in Windows. I think it's great for simple editing.

This is definately a great (free) program in Windows. I look forward to when it is fully ported to Linux.

I know the developers for Paint.NET have no interest in porting it to Mono, but I wonder if they will be more inclined to cross-platform it once the Mono team has it ported?

I think Krtia is the closest equivalent to Paint.NET, but Krita has been buggy with me (with my tablet especially). Anyone know of any other good drawing programs (yes, I do use Inkscape)?
