Don't Really know where to post this thread so move it if need be, thnx....

Just wanted to share a painting i just finished. I do graphics as a hobby and from time to time i paint pictures which are inspired by my dreams.

This painting is based on a dream i had a week or so ago. I was outside, it was dark and very random. I looked up in the dream and wondered if there was anything watching over us. As soon i as looked up i saw these Eyes. The first one was closest to us, dark but fitting in the night sky. As i kept looking up i saw the second eye, A reflection to where i was and the Eye was hellish looking, with a dark red aura.

I think this dream has some kind of meaning lol, but i'm really not sure. Might be something DEEP haha

Well, i hope you like it at least, Comments and Critiques appreciated. Thank You :)

Gosh, you need to lay off the acid for a while :) Nah, just joking. The quick, Freudian analysis, would be something about how you feel you are being judged both by those who want to help you (the pale/bluish eye) and those who try to oppose you (the red eye). Heh! I have no idea where that came from, feel free to ignore it as my days of dream analysis is way behind me (along with anything else related to Freud).

Anyhows, it's a really spectacular picture, really. If you flipped it horizontally it would make for a great dual-screen wallpaper.

Thanks for the analysis! lol. I would love to take this picture to a psychologist, see what he/she feels about it haha.

Thank you for the comments everyone :KS

Yes, I've made 3 paintings from my dreams so far...

This one is really special for me cause it actually did mean something. ..

Basically, i was walking through a cemetery trying to find a burial. While i was walking, i fell into a grave and saw this being..

I knew he was dead but he looked like he had just recently died.

This dream actually freaked me out because a week later i lost my close friend who i was in the Marines with. Was killed in action back in Dec 19 of last year.

In my own personal opinion, i think this was a warning of what was to come.

You should have a site or blog for your art.

I have a website http://www.celentian.com which i don't use lol. It's been years since I've coded a website and now I'm a noob at making sites. However the Blog Idea isn't too bad, i think i could find someone to make me a blog, thanks!

Strange -but beautiful- painting, indeed. Reminds me of a psychological essay I read about dreaming with two suns or two moons (I don't remember the author, was a Venezuelan psychiatrist, but if I remember his name, I'll post it here).

I've had strange dreams sometimes too (we all have, I think). I wouldn't dare to analyze your dream because I'm not a psychologist (although I used to read a lot about psychology in the past, when I studied literature), so I would probably trivialize it. But I'd like to tell a dream I had some years ago: I was in my apartment, then I took the elevator to the penthouse (it was actually the building's roof), and there was like an ancient square, or plaza, something like that. Then I walked and there was a beautiful bridge which leaded to a kind of park or hoods (everything in the dreams is itself and something else); there was some people there and everything was peaceful and beautiful. The overall sensation was of being in a nice and warm place, but I suddenly woke up when I was walking inside the park :-?

Give us all a link when you have it up (if you decide to go that route)

You could always upload your art to DeviantArt (http://www.deviantart.com) rather than making your own site.

Those images are amazing. I wish I had even a fraction of that talent.

I'd recommend this thread to be moved to art section of the forums. Placing it here in the hustle and bustle of the cafe makes it vulnerable to be bumped into page 122435 of the cafe :D!

OP: Great work! Do you have a license for your artwork btw?
