View Full Version : ALT-TAB in Wine?

So I'm using Wine to play some games, but I seem to be unable to ALT-TAB. When I ALT-TAB, it minimizes my game window for a split second and then brings it right back up again, even if my selected window isn't my game window. This is really annoying since my game window is full-screen and I seem to be unable to change that (anyone know how?), so I have to actually quit the game in order to do anything else on my computer. Anyone know how to solve either of these problems (take the game out of fullscreen or how to do ALT-TAB properly)? Thanks.

applications>wine>configure wine

emulate desktop setting

or from terminal type winecfg

If you are running a game fullscreen why dont you switch to another desktop instead of alt-tabbing in WINE unless you are running two programs on WINE.
That is what I do so just wondering if there was a reason to alt tab out of a full screen game

Ah, I thought it was just CTRL-ALT XD

When I do CTRL-ALT-RArrow, it seems to crash X...what'm I doing wrong?

If I can get this working, I'll be thrilled ^_^
