the rubik's revenge and professor's cube are awesome. collecting rubik's cubes has become almost a hobby for me and i actually just got the anniversary one which is all in shades of grey with black and white end-caps. you need great lighting for that one though :D first time i tried it i was in a restaurant and kept getting the grey's mixed up.
what i really want, however, is for olympic cube (http://www.olympicube.com/) to get their act together and release their working versions of 6x6x6 and 7x7x7 cubes. as soon as i finished the professor's cube a couple years back i went online to see if there was anything larger and i found their 6x6x6. now they have a 7x7x7 working as well but they aren't releasing them for public consumption...bummer!

I have been looking for a Rubiks emulator for Linux so i could do a really large cube.

rubiks revolution is an electronic gaming deivice, however i did try the rubiks cube - a small toy one and could never get it.
