I want to get some equipment so that I can hook up my PC or my game systems to play in the back of my van, but I am note sure of what to get and how to go about it. There are power inverters, but they use the car battery so they will drain the battery quickly, but if I get a backup battery (like a UPS or something) the full-load runtime off the battery is only 3 minutes. Are there batteries that I can use that are not $2,3,4,5, 600 something that will last for at least 4,5 6 hours? How should I go about this?

anything that doesn't seem... difficult to do? For instance, a UPS battery I could just buy?

for those type of hours you're looking for, thats about as good as you'll get without shelling out big cash.

hmm, whadda ya think of this? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2224144&CatId=237

it says it last 8 hours and is a 400 watt inverter/battery

also this: http://shopping.discovery.com/product-60697.html

but it doesnt look like it has much of a battery life. I wonder why the 360watt drill last the longest? typo? for an xbox 360 and a tv that would be about 600 watts I think, so that would last all but maybe 10 minutes on that thing I think..
