kxdocker .37 was released today. the deb package is old though, so you have to build it on your own.

but the reason why i posted this here is because it now supports gnome. so if any of you gnomies have been wanting a good dock, then try this out. it is a little hard to configure though, but its not too bad once you get the hang of it. its all gui.

anyone figured out how to change its x-axis position ? i can set it to the top of the screen, but I can't move it around. plus, I can't delete the "shortcuts", they just keep reappearing.

Even if there isnt a deb made, could someone go through the process of installing this.... pleeease?

You need a good number of qt and kde libraries and headers. I'm afraid I don't remember what I installed, and I don't think apt-get keeps a log. Try running ./configure and see if you get an error. If you do, I might be able to remember what I did to make it go away.
