People always moan about Firefox and the fact that the filechooser has no preview widget.

According to http://blogs.gnome.org/epiphany/2007/12/17/epiphany-2214-the-case-of-mr-epifanio-navegared/ , filechooser previews are now implemented in Epiphany.

Here's another good reason to use Epiphany.

Try uploading a file here and you'll see what a file chooser is.

Very nice; although the fact that Epiphany works, is enough to make it my browser of choice over Firefox ;)

Is there any feasible way of getting a hold of the development version of Epiphany using Gecko 1.9/Webkit?

Use Hardy, but it doesn't have a WebKit backend built.
