Basically, your beans increase as you make more posts in the support forums. However, it's fairly random and doesn't reflect the true number of posts you've made, nor does it reflect your knowledge base or "cred."

I gave up on trying to figure out the beans/coffee cups/whatever. I had 2 coffee cups, then went down to 1, then right up to 5 cups. Hm...
